AIR – Amateur Radio

Hello Saint Paul!

Amateur Intelligence Radio (AIR) is a radio station hosted by a building, the St. Paul's Union Depot. This allows people to connect to this historical setting and to each other. As time goes by, AIR tells the activities in its walls and organizes small interventions on the site, landmark and salon of the city.

AIR shares the interactive content provided by its artificial intelligence and commuters.
Its animated synthetic voice radio programs are dynamically created with real-time data such as weather conditions, the number of people in the room, bus schedules, pedestrian traffic, and so on. AIR also has an online platform that allows people to listen to and contribute to radio shows from any location.

For on-site listening, five interactive stations (clock, door, social, waiting and river) allow passersby to connect and listen to the voice of the building. Each listening station offers a different point of view of the space, connects to the stories told and can be discreet or audacious to discover.
