The government’s StopCovid tracking app doesn’t seem to convince everyone. The League for Human Rights believes that this would incur too big a risk for the French. “This application is susceptible to hacking, it is likely to collect data that you send yourself, sensitive data on your state of health”, alert Monday April 27 on franceinfo Malik Salemkour, president of the League for Human Rights.
The organization fears that the implementation of such a tool could have dangerous consequences on the freedoms of the French. “Behind this goodwill, this approach which aims to be sanitary, we put our finger on individual freedoms and a general surveillance of patients which is particularly harmful”, concludes Malik Salemkour.
